While emotionally, Obi-Wan hasn’t changed greatly, he has endured a lot while he has been in Deerington. He had to push the limits of his own charity and forgiveness in his dealings with Maul, putting compassion first and foremost when it came to the Sith Lord. Even though Obi-Wan killed Maul during Maul’s rampage, he took accountability for his actions and continued to seek help for him. But he is tested now with Maul asking if Obi-Wan is ready to help him move forward, perhaps even possibly forgive him. To which, Obi-Wan said he was unsure and is still ruminating on what his decision should be.
With the arrival of more people from his galaxy, Obi-Wan had to grapple with the knowledge of Palpatine and the setup of the war, of which he knew vaguely of but now finally has a face to. He also has to deal with the deterioration of Anakin. With Anakin finally breaking down about the truth, Obi-Wan is struggling as well. He loves Anakin, more than anything and letting him go is the hardest thing for him to do. He wants to help Anakin find contentment in some way, but what does that mean for the galaxy? For Anakin’s path in the Jedi Order? For himself as well? These are questions Obi-Wan is still grappling with but for now his choice is to stay by Anakin’s side and help him.
But it wasn’t all emotional struggles. Having his long departed master Qui-Gon return left Obi-Wan with a mix of feelings. They were able to reconcile past disagreements but Obi-Wan also slowly came to terms with who his master was instead of placing him on a pedestal in his heart. He learned to let them go but treat his master as his equal. As people instead of a shadow that lingered in his past. At long last, Obi-Wan reached some form of closure in that chapter of his life.
Deerington wasn’t his home. He has made good friends and connected strongly with the pains they suffer through. It is part of his journey and he knows it isn’t over. And perhaps it is through this journey that he’ll find the answers to the questions he’s still looking for. While continuing to look inward.

The Force: As a Jedi Master, Obi-Wan has superlative control of the Force. He is able to sense unusual emotions and abilities. He often has moments of clarity where he can sense oncoming danger and guess people’s intentions with uncanny perceptiveness. He is also able to move himself and objects easily via telekinesis. He also can communicate and influence other living creatures, provided they are weak-minded.
Fighting Ability: Obi-Wan is considered to be one of the greatest lightsaber fighters in Jedi history, able to fight Sith Masters simultaneously and to a standstill with no great loss to himself. While he does not like to use blasters, he is a competent marksman and can manage hand-to-hand combat with ease. With the Force, his endurance and athletic ability is far higher than normal human beings.
