[The Jedi is only human and Maul knows that helping his oldest foe wasn't going to be easy. If the positions were reversed, Maul would have never even bothered, but he knew Obi-Wan was far more selfless in that regard than he would ever be.]
[Maul's eyes narrow and he growls a little bit but he can't deny Kenobi is right. Then some of the anger leaves and he looks down towards the ground, speaking quietly.]

[There's no point in denying he's not. Obi-Wan knows him well and he's also told him a lot more when Maul was missing his memories of the man. He's worried about this unknown path he's walking down, having to surrender a level of control that he's always tightly held in his grasp before.]
[He knows Obi-Wan is right and it infuriates him a little bit to admit that even to himself. Just because he is a Sith doesn't mean he's a slave to the emotions that give him power.]
Will you promise to look after Savage while I am unable to? If I know he will be alright, I will agree to this.
