[When they finished lunch Usagi had insisted they head outside the city and to the beach no less. She was pacing a bit, trying to figure out how best to explain what the hell it was she could do.]
Um, so I don't know if I've mentioned it, maybe I have. Uh, in any case. My powers, that is, my element- is literally light and... uh, healing. And I have access to them in this form, this body, but I... uh- also sort of can also physically and completely change into another being. That's not so much the important part as... I uh, need to turn into that to have full access to my abilities.
Not... really, no. Even if I did transform, Force users tend to be able to see through the magic since you see... [She made vague wavey gestures around Obi-Wan's body, wiggling her fingers.]
This will just take a second or two.
[She lifted her hand into the air. "SILVER MOON CRYSTAL POWER!" filled the air and in a matter of moments, Usagi was transformed from herself into Eternal Sailor Moon.]
[Oh I'm sorry, Obi-Wan, is Paodok’Draba’Takat Sap’De’Rekti Nik’Linke’Ti’ Ki’Vef’Nik’NeSevef’Li’Kek a better name? Should she call herself THAT instead? Rude.]
Well, let's see. For me, healing is sharing my powers but... at it's core, it's me sharing my life energy with another object. Be it a person, animal, plant, or even a building, all of those things I can give my life force. I just happen to have a... well literally endless amount of life force to call on to do that which is why I can heal a planet or bring back the dead.
[Just because she actually succeeds in killing all the people trying to destroy entire people and planets is no reason to be a Negative Nancy, Obi-Wan.
She lifts a brow, clearly amused.]
You will not be healing planets and galaxies, Obi-Wan-san. I suspect you will be fine.
Now, what goes into being a Jedi Healer, maybe if I understand how you do it, we can figure out a way to translate what I do into what you would do. [Since, well, she's not a Jedi and he's not a senshi.]
ALthough, if push comes to shove, I suppose I can always transfer my power to you.
[Sailor Moon tapped her lips in thought. With the way he described it, it's not... really any different than what she did. She just shifted the balance of life from herself to others.
She tilted her head.]
Don't take this the wrong way... but one of us is going to have to get hurt, I think.
Well, unless you want to find and then practice healing an injured crab? [She made an idle gesture to further down the beach where the cave with the crabs resided.]
You can't see how I heal something if there's nothing to heal. But I would really rather not go through hallucinations again should they happen to sink their claws in me. [Especially while in the form of Sailor Moon where she could do some serious damage.] And I don't exactly enjoy the idea of injuring some random animal for the sake of practice.
More than enough. [She takes a small step back from Obi-Wan to give him space for igniting his lightsaber. She had already been sliced by one already and wasn't looking to have a repeat experience.]
Whenever you're ready. You won't be hurt for very long.
[ he adjusts the setting on his saber before pressing it against his arm. there is a little sizzle and it leaves a faint burn before obi-wan pulls his saber away, retracting the blade. ]
That should do it. [She came back to him, carefully taking his arm in gloved hands.]
I suppose, focus on what it is I'm doing as best you can? But not just with your eyes. [She gazed at the burn. Such a small wound wouldn't really require much of anything from her. So she summoned her light and her own energy, just a small bit of it, and from her hands, light spread out and wrapped around Obi-Wan's arm, seeping into the wound. Her own life energy finding all the damage and loss the burn had caused.
Her life energy weaved in and out of every damaged cell, every membrane. Where it found aches and pains, it wrapped around it, soothing it away, restoring it cell by cell in a blink.
Until the burn was gone as if it had never been, and the light faded away.]

By all means. Is it a private thing?

Curious.

You are a master of understatement, Obi-Wan. Unless this is something else incredibly common in your galaxy? Maul has not said as much.

We have the Angels of Iego. The Diathim. They're mostly legend, but they look like you.
no subject
I'll take your comment as a compliment, all the same.

It certainly was one.
So, what now?

That sounds like it could still backfire.

At least that is the theory.

I'll give myself a slight burn. It should be enough.
