What... would it take for you to learn that? Like, what would you have to do in the Force?

I'm . . . not sure to be honest. It is a notoriously difficult skill to have. And I never possessed the patience or the skill to follow the path of a Jedi Healer.

[lightthedarkness]

[She bit her lip.]

Does... it have to be a Jedi healer?

[jedies]

[ he blinks. ]

What do you mean?

Uuum...

So... uh, I can heal. And I'm actually pretty good at it? [A nervous laugh.] So... I don't know if it would even work but if you explained how healing works in the Force, maybe I could... sorta figure out if it compares to mine?

If you'd want! I know... I mean, I don't know how good of a teacher I would even be- if at all! Or if this would even work! I just...

[Her face is getting redder as she speaks and her voice softer until it trails off.]

[jedies]

I didn't know you could heal. That is an extraordinary power.

[ infinitely more impressive than hurting people or physical power in obi-wan's eyes. ]

We can certainly give it a chance.

[Usagi immediately went beet red. She scratched the back of her head.]

Ah, I... yeah. I um... healed a few people back in Deerington. At first, Deerington took it from me, but I got it back in the end. And it's back to normal here, though probably not to the same degree as... back home.

And yeah! I'd uh, like to do that for you, with you... or at least try.

[jedies]

I would welcome such an opportunity.

[ it's a no brainer. healing is a valuable skill, one obi-wan would prize more than fighting, even if he's excellent at it. he feels the same way about his piloting and marksmanship skills. he may be good but he doesn't care for them. ]

Whenever you can, if you're not too busy.

[She shook her head.] We could start after lunch, if you wanted?

[When they finished lunch Usagi had insisted they head outside the city and to the beach no less. She was pacing a bit, trying to figure out how best to explain what the hell it was she could do.]

Um, so I don't know if I've mentioned it, maybe I have. Uh, in any case. My powers, that is, my element- is literally light and... uh, healing. And I have access to them in this form, this body, but I... uh- also sort of can also physically and completely change into another being. That's not so much the important part as... I uh, need to turn into that to have full access to my abilities.

[jedies]

[ his eyebrows shoot up, curious. ]

By all means. Is it a private thing?

[lightthedarkness]

Not... really, no. Even if I did transform, Force users tend to be able to see through the magic since you see... [She made vague wavey gestures around Obi-Wan's body, wiggling her fingers.]

This will just take a second or two.

[She lifted her hand into the air. "SILVER MOON CRYSTAL POWER!" filled the air and in a matter of moments, Usagi was transformed from herself into Eternal Sailor Moon.]

[ fascinating. he's never seen anything like it. maybe the angels of iego? with wings and shine. ]

Curious.

[She gives a small snort of amusement.]

You are a master of understatement, Obi-Wan. Unless this is something else incredibly common in your galaxy? Maul has not said as much.

[jedies]

Well, not exactly but . . .

We have the Angels of Iego. The Diathim. They're mostly legend, but they look like you.

[lightthedarkness]

I am considered something of a legend myself when I am like this. In this form, I am Eternal Sailor Moon, Champion of Love and Justice,

I'll take your comment as a compliment, all the same.

So, what now?

[Oh I'm sorry, Obi-Wan, is Paodok’Draba’Takat Sap’De’Rekti Nik’Linke’Ti’ Ki’Vef’Nik’NeSevef’Li’Kek a better name? Should she call herself THAT instead? Rude.]

Well, let's see. For me, healing is sharing my powers but... at it's core, it's me sharing my life energy with another object. Be it a person, animal, plant, or even a building, all of those things I can give my life force. I just happen to have a... well literally endless amount of life force to call on to do that which is why I can heal a planet or bring back the dead.

[jedies]

[ as long as it's not ended with truth and justice. ]

That sounds like it could still backfire.

[lightthedarkness]

[Just because she actually succeeds in killing all the people trying to destroy entire people and planets is no reason to be a Negative Nancy, Obi-Wan.

She lifts a brow, clearly amused.]

You will not be healing planets and galaxies, Obi-Wan-san. I suspect you will be fine.

[jedies]

[ he meant for her than himself, but he chuckles all the same. ]

Perhaps so.

Now, what goes into being a Jedi Healer, maybe if I understand how you do it, we can figure out a way to translate what I do into what you would do. [Since, well, she's not a Jedi and he's not a senshi.]

ALthough, if push comes to shove, I suppose I can always transfer my power to you.
